Film History

Cinema the word comes from a Greece word Kinema. Another name of Cinema is Film, Movie, Motion Picture etc. But now the word “Film” is very famous and well-known. So we call it Film. The history of film passed a hundred years. Films developed gradually from a carnival newness to one of the most important tools of communication and entertainment, and mass media in the 20th century. Its have had a Real impact on the arts, technology, and politics.

Birth of film

In the year 1886 George Estman invented Celluloid Film. It is well-known as named Kodak Film.

In the year 1895 Robert W. Paul invented Projector.

In the year 1895 in France, Auguste and Louis Lumiere invented a camera named Cinematograph, a portable, three-in-one device: camera, printer, and projector.

Then it is possible to display moving pictures for group audiences, rather than just to individual viewers.

December 28, 1895 Lumiere Brothers first commercially display film in Indian ballroom of Paris Grand Cafe. They charge 1 Franc for it.

The world film history says that December 28, 1895 is the first film display day.
